COMMANDER IN CHIEF (सरसेनापती) HAMBIRRAO MOHITE

Hambirrao Mohite was commander in chief of maratha Empire. He was born in year 1633 in the mohite Dynasty. As he was born in mothite clan he held a significant position in the Maratha empire. For childhood he was found of the Maratha martial arts.

He had immense knowledge of administration and was very courageous. As time passed he became a very trustworthy commander of Chatrapati shivaji maharaj. He had great affection towards swaraj and chatrapati shivaji maharaj. The qualities like leadership and warfare knowledge earned him the post of commander in chief (सरसेनापती) of Maratha Empire

He had very crucial contribution in battle against the mughals in the deccan region. He also served chatrapati sambhaji maharaj after chatrapati shivaji maharaj and helped chatrapati sambhaji maharaj in many battles and made the roots of swaraj stronger.

In 1987, he fought the battle against sarja khan in wai region and won the battle. But sadly during the battle he was hit with a cannon ball.
