Subedar Tanaji Malusare :- The great Maratha warrior

               Legendary commnder of Chatrapati shivaji maharaj subedar tanaji malusare was born in year 1600 at godavli, javali taluka satara. 
                Subedar was very courageous. He is well known for fighting the battle of sinhagad and winning it. 
Name of father:- sardar kaloji 
Name of mother:- parvatibai
                  He fought the battle of sinhagad (kondhana at that time) despite having the marriage of his son raiba. Villagers near sinhagad were not with the campaign of Chatrapati shivaji maharaj because udaybhan rathore ( Mughal fort keeper) had bent the rod used for mining purpose form half by hand. It tells the strength of that commander.
                    Subedar tanaji malusare came to know about this and went to the village where the bent rod was kept. He then straightened the bent rod back to its original state with both of his hands. Bending rod was way more easier than straightening the bent rod. Seeing this the villagers came to know about the power that maratha commander had. After the incident the villagers near the sinhagad fort helped subedar to win the fort back.
                During the battle on sinhagad one hand of subedar was cut down and he died as a hero. (वीरगती). After seeing this chatrapati shivaji maharaj sadly said 'गड आला पण सिंह गेला '. Chatrapati shivaji maharaj then attended the marriage ceremony of subedars son raiba.
